IndiaAI Compute Capability for Vaia

Vaia IndiaAI Mission

The IndiaAI Mission is the Government of India's national programme, run by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to build the compute, data, and talent foundation for AI in India. A central part of it is subsidised access to GPU infrastructure, delivered through a panel of empanelled cloud providers rather than state-run data centres.

Vaia has received subsidised AI compute through the IndiaAI Mission, with E2E Networks — India's first NSE-listed public cloud provider and one of the mission's empanelled GPU providers — as its assigned cloud service provider. This gives Vaia access to advanced GPU infrastructure as it continues training, evaluating, and improving Vaia GPT, its finance-trained model.

What subsidised compute changes

For a team training a proprietary, domain-trained model rather than wrapping an off-the-shelf API, compute availability is often the binding constraint. This support gives Vaia more room to:

  • Train Vaia GPT deeper, on more of its financial and investment-reasoning data.
  • Test more rigorously before a model change reaches a client environment.
  • Run improvement and evaluation cycles without compute being the bottleneck.

Building financial AI from India

Vaia is proud to be building from India, and grateful to the IndiaAI Mission and the ecosystem enabling this journey, including E2E Networks, for the support.
