In 2023, Inc42 covered the launch of Vaia's climate-focused venture studio. The firm rebranded from CaHa Capital to Vaia that year, and the studio, Vaia Climate, was described as India's first climate-focused venture studio.
The coverage described the studio's intent to back and build climate-focused companies out of Bengaluru.
What it became
The work in that 2023 article has since grown into Vaia's present-day sustainability practice and platform, spanning ESG due diligence, carbon accounting, and BRSR, GRI, and TCFD reporting. It now sits alongside the firm's investment advisory side under the Vaia name.
