The Hindu Covers Vaia's Equity-free AI Residency Programme
The Hindu reported on Vaia's launch of an equity-free AI residency programme for AI startups, describing its fully funded, in-person structure in Bangalore.
The Vaia Agentic AI Residency Program is run with Hack2skill as co-organiser. Its first cohort of eight came from the IITs, NITs, BITS, IIITs, and other top engineering schools; applications closed on 31 October 2025.
Why the equity-free structure was the story
Most programs that fund and house early builders take equity in return. Vaia's does not: residents keep full ownership of what they build. The coverage picked up on that as the distinguishing feature.
